Analog Accuracy Controls in PolyBrute V2 Firmware
Examining the Arturia PolyBrute's new Vintage Voice Modeling Options
The version 2.0 firmware for Arturia PolyBrute brought many new features, updates, and bug fixes to the PolyBrute Synthesizer. One of the great new controls is the Analog Accuracy settings, which is what Arturia is calling is vintage voice modeling options.

The video below gives an in depth review of the new Analog Accuracy Controls, and examines some use cases, and broader considerations for vintage voice modeling, including the selection of voice allocation methods.
Accessing the PolyBrute Analog Accuracy Controls:
1. From PolyBrute Connect Application:
There are two dropdowns in the upper right of the interface, beneath the fine tune knob. The first dropdown accesses the Pitch Accuracy Controls, and the second dropdown accesses the Other Controls
2. From the PolyBrute Synth:
Hold down the settings button, and turn the synth master fine tune knob in the upper right section of the synth. This is the shortcut to access the analog accuracy settings menu. Alternatively, you can click SETTINGS once, then press 1. VOICE, 1. VCO, 4. ANALOG ACCURACY, for the full pathway to the settings menu.
Overview of Analog Accuracy and Vintage Voice Modeling
These macro controls allow the PolyBrute to easily emulate Vintage Voice Variance, and dial in tons of warm, organic vintage poly synth type of sounds, as well as amazing sounding acoustic ensembles.
I was asked to join Arturia's Beta team a few months ago to help out with the curation of these new features. I was happy to hop on board and help out and do some one-on-one correspondences on the side with their development team, to help dial in the value ranges and behavior of the new Analog Accuracy / Voice Modeling controls.
These updates give users an easy, streamlined method to quickly add in a bunch of vintage character to any patch. In addition, I discuss how to leverage the mod matrix to custom roll you own vintage voice modeling offsets, and I explore some more advanced considerations for getting the most out of the Analog Accuracy controls and Voice Allocation Settings.
